Facilities for Visitors with Disabilities
Mobility Access
There is level access to many areas of the Palace and grounds. Blue Badge parking is located at the front of the main car park, with a shuttle buggy service to the Palace entrance. A lift provides access to the State Rooms (max weight 300kg). While many garden paths are paved, some areas of the wider parkland have uneven surfaces.
Wheelchair & Scooter Hire
A limited number of wheelchairs and mobility scooters are available to borrow free of charge. It is essential to pre-book these at least 24 hours in advance by calling the customer service team. Please note that Blenheim's own scooters cannot be taken inside the Palace, but a wheelchair transfer is offered.
Visual & Hearing Impairments
Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the estate. Touch tours for visually impaired visitors and British Sign Language (BSL) interpreted tours are available on select dates and must be booked in advance. Hearing loops are installed at key service points.
Accessible Toilets
Accessible toilets are located throughout the site, including a new Changing Places facility in the Walled Garden, which includes a height-adjustable bench and hoist system.
